Product Description

The Umicore Rhoduna® PT ONE plating solution is a unique rhodium alternative that coats jewelry in a white and bright rhodium-platinum alloy with the luster and durability of pure rhodium, but at a fraction of the cost of regular rhodium.

The 1-gram solution contains 30% rhodium and 70% platinum that delivers a nearly constant 20/80 rhodium-platinum coating layer up to 0.3μm thick that is indistinguishable from pure rhodium, even to the trained eye. (Rhodium and platinum have different throw rates, resulting in the differing ratios in the coating layer versus the solution alloy composition.) Made in Germany.

The solution comes in a 250ml concentrate bottle to be mixed with 750ml of distilled water (not included). Use a platinized titanium anode (preferrably mesh) and white gold wire hook. Unlike regular pure rhodium, this solution must be heated to 113°F (45°C) in a new 1000ml beaker setup. Full instructions are included.
